PERFORMANCE OF DUTIES:

In the performance of your duties, you will report to the Marketing Director or any other representative as deemed appropriate.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Project a professional image in communicating with secondary school principals and school counselors as well as general appearance and manner;
  2. Responsible for generating new businesses for the college. This could be sales of courses currently offered or those developed from time to time;
  3. Understand how the marketing environment affects strategic decisions;
  4. Assist to describe and identify the best practices in marketing strategy (marketing segments/ target markets, mix and product positioning);
  5. Assist in identifying integrated marketing communications such as advertising and, promotions via electronic means, including E-Marketing;
  6. Identify the major types of customers that comprise the business market;
  7. Identify various tactics that help Sunway to retain its customers;
  8. Assist to identify marketing channels and distribution;
  9. Increase the level of awareness through daily interaction, courtesy calls or visits to secondary school principals and school counselors on a consistent and regular basis;
  10. Represent the management in handling of student/ parent enquiries pertaining to all courses offered at the college;

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ABOVE POSITIONS:
• Minimum Diploma/ Degree in related field or equivalent
• Hard-working, has pleasant personality
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision, high degree of integrity and required to work on alternate Saturdays and extended counselling hours and during marketing activities.

PERFORMANCE OF DUTIES:

In the performance of your duties, you will report to the CEO, to ensure efficient and smooth operations of the department thereby maximizing customer satisfaction as per Sunway Standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Management of staff and operations of the Registry Department.
  2. Organising and administering students’ records.
  3. Ensures all records are updated with latest records.
  4. Supervises the registration of continuing and new students as well as the transfer of credits.
  5. The Registrar ensures the integrity, accuracy, and security of all academic records of current and former students, and facilitates an effective student registration process.
  6. Working with Student Services Department to facilitate an efficient and timely process to convert students’ newly accepted students to registered.
  7. Develop and maintain audit system and certificate of students for graduation/graduation clearance.
  8. Working with Academic and Administrative Department to interpret and enforce academic policies and regulations of the College.
  9. Must keep abreast of operational and reporting trends, regulations, and technology solutions for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Registry Department.
  10. Ensure compliance with all MQA and MOHE regulations.
  11. Develop and maintain accurate curriculum management systems.
  12. Plans and manages the annual budget of the Registry Department.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ABOVE POSITIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with MQA standards and MOHE regulations is an added advantage.

PERFORMANCE OF DUTIES:

In the performance of your duties, you will report to the reporting to Head of Academic or any other representative as deemed appropriate.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Load: 20 hours per week (to record hours through the log sheet available at the Front Office on a per subject basis)
  • Prepare and teach the courses assigned to you in accordance with the lecture plan and academic calendar;
  • Maintain, standardise and update course materials each semester;
  • Record class/tutorial attendance and report on absentees
  • Provide consultation to students and be prepared to discuss students process with the relevant stakeholders;
  • Mark and return all assessments with comments on a timely basis (standard turnaround time: 10 days)
  • Invigilation duties;
  • Attend lecturers’ meeting held in the semester;
  • Carry out all best practices to achieve the highest standards of course delivery and pass rates
  • To perform any other duties assigned by Chief Executive Officer.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ABOVE POSITIONS:

• Possess at least a Degree or Master in Finance/Accountancy/Business/Mathematics as relevant

• Member of ACCA, CIMA or any professional accountancy body will be an added advantage for those applying to teach Accounting

• Possess initiative, the ability to think independently and a passion for academic excellence

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with strong command in spoken English

• At least 3 years’ working experience in the accounting field
